Healthcare Provider & Standard Levels
Both healthcare providers and the general community standard levels apply. This course will include 1 & 2 rescuer CPR, choking rescue, AED, adult, child, and infant level.
Adult, Child, and Infant Levels
Adults Over Age 8 / puberty / over 55 lbs
Children 1-8 years / not at puberty stage / less than 55 lbs
Infants 0-1year
(CPR) CardioPulmonary Resuscitation
CPR supports Cardio (Heart) function with external chest compressions, and Pulmonary (Lung) function with ventilations, during an apparent cardiac arrest. Rescue Breathing, which supports breathing only during an apparent respiratory arrest and Compression only guidelines are also included.
Choking Rescue
The ability to support an open air passage:
Adult / child abdominal thrusts (Heimlich maneuver) / chest thrusts
Infant back blows and chest thrusts
Head tilt / chin lift Jaw thrust
Epi-pen
Accidents...cords, bags, drowning
Recovery position

(AED) Automated External Defibrillator Training
The ability to provide a life saving shock in the event of an apparent cardiac arrest. Automatic device will prompt operator to place electrode pads, clear patient, shock, and return to CPR as necessary.
Basic First Aid Training
The ability to provide support during an emergency with topics including:
Check..call..care, bleeding, burns, convulsions, shock, injury assessment, poisoning...and more.
Bloodborne Pathogens Training Support
Support to keep you compliant in the workplace from infectious blood that pose serious risk.
Exposure control plan, engineering controls, work practice controls, (PPE) personal protective equipment, Hepatitis B vaccine availability, post exposure details, labels, sign, communication of hazards, training, records and more.
